A fever is a symptom which indicates there is something wrong inside the body and normally occurs along with headaches, nausea, loss of appetite, body aches general discomfort and occasionally diarrhea and vomiting.the skin remains hot and dry.
THE TEMPERATURE RANGES
Malaria alternately rises one day and then returns to normal the next.
Pneumonia it rises very fast and remains high for several days
Rheumatic fever rises quickly and goes down during two or three days.it remains low during 15days and rises again to remain high.
Hepatitis rises slightly from 98.6 F to 100.4 F and its normally goes down when the persons eye turn yellow.
An infection is the most common reason for this nevertheless, the most important thing to do is to lower the temperature in the body and never let it rise above 104 F.
If the temperature rises above normal, the person must be undressed. If doing this does not make the temperature go down,the person must be bath with lukewarm water.

A serum can be prepared as follows in a quart (1 liter)of water mix ½ tablespoon salt and ½ tablespoon of sugar or honey and give this to the sick person frequently .
