A fever is the increase of temperature in the body above what is normal, normal temperature varies in each individual from 97 Fahrenheit to 98.6 Fahrenheit, depending on the part of the body.when temperature rises it starts to interfere with body functions and can even produce convulsions when it reaches 105.5 F. if it goes higher can cause irreversible brain damaged.
A fever is a symptom which indicates there is something wrong inside the body and normally occurs along with headaches, nausea, loss of appetite, body aches general discomfort and occasionally diarrhea and vomiting.the skin remains hot and dry.


THE TEMPERATURE RANGES

Malaria alternately rises one day and then returns to normal the next.

Pneumonia it rises very fast and remains high for several days

Rheumatic fever rises quickly and goes down during two or three days.it remains low during 15days and rises again to remain high.

Hepatitis rises slightly from 98.6 F to 100.4 F and its normally goes down when the persons eye turn yellow.

An infection is the most common reason for this nevertheless, the most important thing to do is to lower the temperature in the body and never let it rise above 104 F.

If the temperature rises above normal, the person must be undressed. If doing this does not make the temperature go down,the person must be bath with lukewarm water.

The person must rink a lot of liquid to compensate for their loss, as well as take proteins and amino acids to help restore damaged tissues.

A serum can be prepared as follows in a quart (1 liter)of water mix ½ tablespoon salt and ½ tablespoon of sugar or honey and give this to the sick person frequently .

 f your child has a fever, it's important to keep them hydrated by giving them plenty of cool water to drink.
Babies should be given plenty of liquids, such as breast milk or formula. Even if your child isn't thirsty, try to get them to drink little and often to keep their fluid levels up.

If the environment is warm, you could help to your child to stay at a comfortable temperature by covering them with a lightweight sheet or opening a window.

Children's paracetamol, which help to reduce fever, as well as being painkillers. You can't give them both at the same time, but if one doesn't work, you may want to try the other later.
